TATA ELXSI is a CMMI Level 5 maturity rated organization. The first thing that
struck me when I joined this organization is the degree of acceptance and importance a
quality function person gets within the organization. That was a pleasant change
from the organizations I worked before where an SQA had to struggle to get the
project managers and project leaders listen to them. |

| I had the chance to work with Texas Instruments for a brief period on an
assignment from TATA ELXSI. At the end of the assignment TI asked me if I would
like to join them, and I spent weeks trying to take a decision. Finally I
decided not to go. Even now I get haunted by this
